So, checking some of the French translated stuff, I notices that with the current rules, few people get to make the build they want with their characters. Now, there is a French translation play aid which helps with this problem (but I'm not too impressed with it).
So I thought of maybe lowering the level at which a Hero Class could be selected.
At first, I aimed for 6th level, as a throwback to the old D&D 3.X prestige classes which could be taken around 4th to 8th level depending on prerequisite and build. But then I realized that the first 4 or 5 levels in

are earned rather quickly, so I changed my aim for level 8 instead. I also assumed that having some talents become available 2 levels earlier rather than 4 levels earlier is probably less unbalanced...
